On of the things I learn in maintaining a Koi Pond for over a year is that you need to be attentive on what's going on in your pond. We had a bit of a scare for the first 6 month because we ignored the algae growth around the pond. Some of the plants have withered away and the saddest part is 1/3 of our Koi Fish have died.
